Double chocolate chip cookies ala 21 Day Fix

21 Day Fix Double Chocolate cookies

Ingredients
1/4 cup Coconut oil - melted
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup lite canned coconut milk
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/4 whole wheat flour
1/2 cup all natural cocoa powder
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (or slivered raw almonds, chopped pecans, dried cherries or raisins).

Directions
preheat oven to 350 degrees
lightly coat baking sheet with spray
combine coconut oil, applesauce, maple syrup, and coconut milk in medium bowl, mix well - set aside. combine coconut flour, whole wheat flour, cocoa powder in a small bowl - mix well. Add flour mixture to applesauce mixture mix until blended. add morsels - mix until blended. drop by heaping tbsp. onto prepared baking sheet. bake for 12 minutes until firm.

Serving Size: makes 15 cookies - 1 cookie each serving

Number of Servings: 15

Tip:  for a gluten free version, substitute 1/3 cup brown rice flour for whole wheat.
