Whta's optimism got to do with it?

I have realized that the way I think about things in a negative light has had a huge impact on how I take on my world.  Yes I am guilty of negative thinking.  A friend of mine said it best, "Negativity is like a virus, it spreads very quickly! It takes so much more energy to be negative. Try a smile & be positive. Its worth it!"...Mike French.  He couldn't be more right!

I had the good fortune of connecting with someone (Larry Zimberg) who suggested I read this book called, "The Slight Edge" by Jeff Olson.  He even sent me a copy.

This book has definitely helped me get in the right frame of mind.
I've always felt that I am missing one thing that could help me achieve my desired goal.  The book stresses the importance of doing things that others are not willing to do like daily disciplines.  I firmly believe it is important to set goals, dream big and work hard towards getting what you want.

Another great book that was suggested too is called "GOALS! How to Get Everything You Want - Faster Than you Ever Thought Possible." by Brian Tracy.  I am going through it and again another revalation is positive thinking and goal setting.

Goals in writing are dream with deadlines, Brain Tracy.  Another good one by Brian Tracy is, "Goals allow you to control the direction of change in your favor."

If you don't know where your going, any road will get you there!
