Everyone has their own reasons for doing what they do. I happen to enjoy working out because it helps me focus on myself. This is an easy habit to form and yes sometimes its hard to remain consistent but if you schedule your workouts like I do, then you should have no problem. It is important to stay accountable to yourself, otherwise who are you really kidding? No one but yourself.
Lately, I noticed I'm struggling with setting goals for myself. Yes, I'd like to continue to lose weight and inches, but how does one really go about doing that. I've also noticed that at times, I overlook the importants of sleep. Sleep is the most underrated reason why you may not be losing weight. First of all, there are two hormones, leptin and ghrelin and they can influence our appetite. I've read that studies are beginning to show that production of both may be influenced by how much or how little we sleep.
The other night, I had a trouble falling back to sleep. I was up for a at least 2 hours. The next day, I noticed that no matter what I ate, I never felt full or satified.
Yeah so life throws us some curve balls, but its how we are ready to catch those balls and fire them back that makes a difference. Exercise helps me relieve stress and makes me stronger both mentally as well as the physical benefits.
I am in the process of figuring out how to be successful with things I want. Number one is to know what you want. Number 2 is to create a plan. Number 3 is to visualize yourself achieving it. Number 4 is keep in action. Number 5, resolve not to quit. That pretty much sums it all up. If you follow those steps, depending on what it is that you want to be successful at then go for it. I challenge you to try it and then let me know how it works for you.
