Now that the holidays are over, New Year's is coming up fast! Lots of folks make resolutions to either stop smoking, get out of debt, lose weight or lose weight! Which one are you? If you've answered either or all of the above, then maybe I could help.
Two 2 years ago back in 2008, I was dealing with loads of stress and frustration and I felt like I had no brakes and was veering out of control! Back in January of 09, I joined Weight Watchers and committed to Chalean Extreme. By Memorial Day, that combo helped me shed 26 lbs. But then something started to happen. I stopped going to Weight Watchers meetings to weigh in, then summer was coming up which presented with some challenges of having the kids home with me. My schedule started to change. I finished out the 2009 but felt I needed to make some necessary changes to make 2010 successful for me.
In retrospect, 2010 was a year of learning and practicing. I've learned how to keep going now matter what obstacles came my way. It doesn't matter how slow you go as long as you don't stop. I was able to practice good nutrition and worked out on a weekly basis.
Change can be overwhelming. If your looking to make positive changes for yourself then figure out what you are wiling to commit to and find someone to hold you accountable. I can help you with the accountability part! Join the Beachbody community for free and be connected with me http://bit.ly/dCCO5K
I am finishing out 2010 strong and have kept most of my weight off. I'm down 18 lbs. from 2009 and expect to get to my Weight Watchers Lifetime goal of losing another 15-20 lbs. by June 2011.
If you master a few daily disciplines, you can make anything happen!. Most of the time, the word discipline usually conjures up negative connotations. But discipline means "control gained by enforcing obedience or order." Make 2011 your year! I'd love to help you get started!
Saw your tweet and thought that I would take a poke around your blog. I really like your style and I can totally relate to this post! As a fitness conscious guy myself I know all too well what stress can do to a wellness plan or rather how it can tear it apart lol. I'm def going to check out your Beachbody group. Thanks! - Nunzio_Bruno
