Falling off the wagon and getting back on!

Staind lyrics from the song "Falling"
I already told you that falling is easy
It's getting back up that becomes the problem
Becomes the problem
If you don't believe you can find a way out
You've become the problem
Become the problem
I love Staind and their songs and I feel this song has captured my reality. Falling is easy, it happens to all of us, the hardest part is getting back up.  This relates to me getting back into my routine with P90X.  I have been on a roll with it for a good 6 weeks and then reluctantly had to hold off for about 10 days due to a strain in my neck.  It was a hard decision to make, but I was glad I listened to my body.  During the layoff, I noticed my thoughts, actions and outlook changed.  I was no longer confident, energetic and happy.

P90X provided me with the physical changes I was looking for which were noticeable.  What I also noticed was that mentally, I was felt more sure of myself!

I started P90X on November 1st and up until last week, I felt great!  If you've been keeping up with my blogs, you know that I've posted before about how I try to balance my fitness and nutrition along with my priorities of being the best mom I could be to a daughter with special needs and a son who needs me too.

I started Week 7 Day 1 with Chest, Shoulders & Triceps which was not easy.  I compared my stats from today to Week 6 on my worksheet.  Even though I pushed myself and found it really hard, my numbers were a little disappointing.

I had to challenge myself mentally and physically and tell myself I can do it.  I am looking forward to jumping back into the program and bringing it!  If you're looking to confuse your muscles and add clarity to your mind, I highly recommend it!  Bring it!
