Remember Wyle E. Cyote?

On Friday I was conversing with my Weight Watchers leader and I was mentioning how I was a bit disappointed with my (weight) gain this week but not surprised at all.  I have been under a tremendous amount of pressure, stressed out about the erratic moods of my daughter challenged with autism, and news of my dear aunt who is suffering with lung cancer, and has just passed on earlier this morning.  These types of situations tug at my heart and make me teary as I try to push forward and focus on improving my health.

I know I must keep moving forward.  The structure of being committed to an intense exercise routine like P90X has given me the structure and predictability I need to keep pressing play in spite of the ups and downs of everyday life.

Now, about Wyle E. Cyote...My leader said, Remember Wyle E. Cyote?  Remember how persistent he was?  No matter how many times he got knocked down, he got right back up. He never gave up!  Sure he used absurd contraptions and elaborate plans to pursue his quarry (the Roadrunner) but one thing you knew for sure, he was tenacious and that I could definitely relate to.

For me my life will always be about moving forward, no matter how slow or how many times I get knocked down.
