What I've learned so far

I'm almost done with my first round of P90X.  Today is Day 77 and I am amazed at how far I've come.  Yesterday I had lunch with a friend who I haven't seen in about 7 weeks and she couldn't get over the change in my physique.  I am down 4 inches in my hips.  My confidence is at an all time high.  This is all due to making a decision to commit to P90X.  Along the way I have been fortunate to meet new people who are on the same journey to improve their health, fitness and nutrition.  I look forward to each day as I continue to make progress.

The best part about having success with my own transformation is that I have a chance to inspire others to get started on their own journey.  Its not only rewarding but exciting to be able to have that kind of influence.

I am expected to finish P90X on June 3rd.  That is the very day I leave for Vegas.  Once I return I am contemplating doing the 3-Day Shakeology Cleanse.  See my notes from my previous blog here:  http://bit.ly/bDob5w I've had prior success last year and lost about 6.5 lbs. in 3 days.  I'm sure I'll need it after my trip....

Starting on Sunday, June 12th I have decided to start Round 2 (with my friend and fellow Beachbody Coach, @BigJeff7169) and will continue to mix INSANITY / ASYLUM cardio into the mix.  The great part about mapping out my workouts is that I can do it with the Auto-Scheduler on Teambeachbody.com.  If you'd like to take advantage of that feature, I encourage you to join the community for free here:  http://bit.ly/dCCO5K

So to recap, I have decided to challenge myself with P90X cause I never thought I could handle pull ups and push ups but I have been able to do pull downs using the pull up bar and different bands and I can honestly say I am able to do man-style push ups (I'm up to 8 on a good day).  This change provided me with consistency and the ability to handle my unbelievably hectic weekly schedule.  P90X was the constant in dealing with the ups and downs in my life.  If your interested in starting P90X; I'd love to help you.  Message me!
