My thoughts

I have always been commited to working out and eating healthy.  Over the years I have been gaining and losing the same 15 to 20 lbs. but have a heck of a time keeping it off.  I am a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and need to lose about 18 more pounds to get back to goal!

Over the past 4 years my husband and I have gone to Las Vegas each May since 2007.  Its funny cause I've been able to fit into the same pair of white jeans I pack with me each year and really only wear them on the trip.  After that they get tucked away until I can wear them again.

What is preventing me from accomplishing my goal of losing the rest of my 18 lbs.?  Well here's what I think....Lately, I have been dealing with chronic stress of raising a 15 year old daughter who has autism.  Teenagers, need I say more!  I also have a son who's 12 and he requires attention too!  While I don't consider myself a perfectionist, I do want what's best for both of them.  Its easy to get caught up in the day-to-day drama of life but I think what's missing for me is that I don't have clear, concise goals to help me map out my plan.  I have started reading Goals by Brian Tracy but havent' finished it yet.  I need to make that a priority!

I'm putting my goals out into the universe and holding myself accountable to my goals.  I have set up an event page on Facebook for daily accountability.  If you would like to join us, click here:  http://bit.ly/99aRrr

I am happy to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who share similar interests like eating healthy and exercising.  I am here for anyone who wants my help!  But what it really boils down to is how can you help yourself.  Sure its hard work but the payout will be well worth it!

“Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success."  Stephen A. Brennan
