Reality, Check!

I wanted to capture the pure essence of my ability to keep moving forward even during the most hectic times.  I went to my weekly Weight Watchers meeting this morning.  I knew I was going to be up but I knew I had to show up and be accountable to myself.  This past week I experienced a new level of stress as things are heating up in my house.  I will spare you the gory details but just know that having a 16 year old teen with (high functioning) autism is beyond any one's imagination of living like a "typical" family.

I realized that as I was dealing with some pretty intense emotions; not only my own but my daughter's, husband's and son's too.  If you are familiar with the in-home workout program that I am doing with P90X, then you'll know that INSANITY is just off-the-hook intense!  I can totally relate to that because my home life is starting to match that same magnitude.

You must be saying geez, I'm glad I'm not in her shoes, well maybe that's true but I can't trade mine in.  So every morning I put on my Reebok Zigtechs and "dig deeper" through each workout.  These workouts have become my lifeline!  Without them I would imagine I could walk around like a zombie and just exist.  That's not how I want to go through life.

So getting back to my 1.8 lb. weight gain.  Yeah I knew I was gonna be up and I accept the fact that some weeks are more stressful than others mean I just have to take things one day at a time!  What helped me the most was all the healthy habits I've been practicing all along that got me through without binge eating, forgoing workouts and negative thinking.

"In order to become resilient in time of stress, you must practice daily habits so that your unconscious mind kicks in and guides you through."  Me

I have a new slate for the week, another chance to move myself forward and go after my goals.  I am committed to my workouts and tracking points.

As a Beachbody coach, I have the utmost pleasure of connecting with so others who need and want my help.  That is the best feeling in the world.  It keeps me motivated to keep going even when I don't want to.   If you need extra accountability or your own personal coach to help you stay on track, then contact me!
