I'm not doing anything you can't do!!!!

I thought the title of this post was more than appropriate!  I have been getting feedback from both Twitter and Facebook about my commitment to working out.  I am reaping the rewards of doing my workouts and staying focused on my routine because I made a conscious decision to do this for myself.

I stopped giving into all the excuses like:
  • I have no time
  • I'm too busy or too stressed
  • I'm too upset
  • I don't feel like it
  • I'm too hungry
  • I'm too tired
We all have the same 168 hours in a week; all it takes is about 45-60 minutes a day, 5-6 days per week.  If that seems too like its too much and or its too extreme, then start with 20-30 minutes a day, 3-4 days per week.  They're even saying now that even 15 minutes a day provides health benefits.  If you can carve out even 10 minutes then this would be a great choice that gets results:  http://bit.ly/hhzEvv

I have disciplined myself to stay on track for the long haul.  Each day I look forward to my workouts.  Its my time to do something good for myself.

I've learned the following:
  1. Set goals thanks to Chalene Johnson (http://30daypush.com),
  2. Tony Horton taught me how to bring it; and
  3. Shaun T helped me learn how to dig deeper.
  4. Surround yourself with like minded individuals.  This has definitely helped me along my journey!  In the past, I've had trouble sticking with a routine over the summer mainly cause my schedule would change, and I let thing unravel.  What's different this year is that I've made up my mind to stick with it no matter what.  I have rearranged my thinking and stopped giving into my sub-conscious thoughts that I can't do it. What changed was learning how to believe in myself!
"Your belief determines your action and your action determines your results, but first you have to believe."  Mark Victor Hansen

Be patient with yourself and make a choice to do something that involves physical activity every day.  Challenge yourself to eat healthier and please eliminate soda (regular and diet).  If your not sure where to start, let me help you!  Make a conscious effort to drink more water.  Start out slow and then each day you'll gain momentum and it will become easier.  Remember what you do today will have an impact on your tomorrows!

If your not happy with where your at on your health & fitness journey, or feel like you don't know what to do, or you want to switch things up with your workouts, or you need accountability to keep you on track then please message me!
