Here's Where I'm At

Things have been really busy and I have been focusing on juggling so much lately.  I've had some pretty cool opportunities come to fruition and now its time to FOCUS on where I'm headed.

Yesterday I had a chance to start my first day of mentor training for Weight Watchers as a receptionist.  I am excited to learn as much as I can because I believe in the program.  Its a lifestyle, its not about dieting for an event; its about learning good habits! I am continually striving to practice good behaviors during stressful times.  Life will always be hectic so planning out as much as I can helps me stay focused and in control.

On March 25th I will be taking PiYo certification training.  If you haven't heard of PiYO its a strength conditioning format that blends Pilates and Yoga.  It has been a goal of mine to branch out and move in the direction of becoming a group exercise instructor. 

Also, I am starting my 11th week with Les Mills PUMP and very pleased with program so far.  While I haven't lost much weight, my muscles are developing which is a nice foundation for what's to come next.  I am looking to jump into a 30 day Ultimate Cross Training Hybrid starting April 1st.

My workouts no longer make it on my to do list.  Its like brushing my teeth.  Its non-negotiable.  It gets done!  I am experimenting with my schedule and have some flexibility on certain days where I can fit in a workout after work.  My preference is to do it first thing at 5 a.m.  There are time when I must listen to my body and get that extra hour sleep.
